Sewing CRISIS!!!

My sewing machine just BROKE!

The screw holding the presser foot on broke off.  Now the presser foot is not attached ,the screw head is in my hand, and the rest of the screw shaft is stuck in the machine.  I'm only half way through my dress for the wedding to top it all off; all my free weekends are booked between now and the wedding. EeK!!!

Baby Shower Weekend

My boyfriend's sister-in-law had her baby shower this weekend.
I did want to share a quick snap-shot of the cupcakes we made for her Safari themed shower.

There were purple elephants as well; however, I didn't get a snapshot of them. 

I also wanted to share the picture of the shower gift I gave her, I call this my "boyquet."  In this particular instance it is a bouquet of baby clothes stuffed into a diaper caddy.

It's now the first week of April and I've finished my niece's dress, and both of my sisters' dresses.  The catch here is that I only have two free weekends between now and my Dad's wedding.  My boyfriend and I booked for every weekend starting the last weekend in April all the way through May.  So here's to finding free time wherever I can.

I also want to wish my little sister a very Happy Birthday.  This is her first birthday as a Mommy :)   It was so nice to spend some time with her, my niece and some friends and family from home.
