Re-wind, re-group, re-start

When I bought my house nearly two and half years ago, a dear friend told me "You will love it.  Decorating your house can be so much fun, just trust me - don't try to do it all at once."

As it is with most advice, I chose to go my own way and will now, re-wind and try to heed her advice.

After the flooring set back, I decided to really re-evaluate and truly just come up with a plan of attack.
WHEW - after a week's worth of thinking, searching, more thinking, and maybe even a little strategizing, I present:

    1. Good Luck!! We bought our house about 7 months ago (built in 1947 and most of it not really updated since then!)--for the last 50 years it's been a 2 apartment home so we're slowly making it into a single family home. Most of the projects on my list involve totally gutting a room and redoing it from square one! So far we've totally gutted and renovated a full bathroom and are working on the living room and staircase now. My hubby and I decided demo looks more fun on tv than it is in reality (well, when you're trying to pry away 60 year old plaster and concrete it is at least! knocking down the wall at the steps wasn't so bad!). I can't wait to see pictures of your progress!
